pulza is a world news map. This policy explains what information the app handles and how.
Your precise location never leaves your device. It is used only to center the map near you when the app opens. When the app loads news for the area you are viewing, it sends the map's visible region (a coarse bounding box) to our servers; this is not stored and is not linked to your identity.
News events are aggregated from publicly available sources via the GDELT Project. AI-generated summaries are produced from news headlines only — no user data is sent to AI providers.
We rely on Supabase (authentication and database), Railway (hosting), OpenAI (news summary generation), and Apple Maps (map display). Each processes data only as needed to run the service.
All traffic uses HTTPS. Sign-in tokens are stored in the iOS Keychain on your device. Account data is kept until you delete your account.
To delete your account and all associated data, contact us at the address below. We complete deletion requests within 30 days.
pulza is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
If this policy changes, we will update this page and the effective date above.
